
A fire that broke out on the 3rd floor of a four-story residential building on St. James Place near Fulton Street was quickly brought under control on Thursday evening, according to the New York Fire Department.
The blaze was called in at 8:11 p.m. and was put out at 8:49 p.m., fire officials said.
About 60 firefighters from 12 units responded to the fire at 238 St. James Place.
