Hit the Polls in Brooklyn...Again

Public Advocate race to be decided by runoff election.

It's time, believe it or not, to head back to the polls in New York City.

Today is the runoff election in the race for Public Advocate. Voters hitting the polls Tuesday will have to decide between Fort Greene Councilwoman Letitia James and state Sen. Daniel Squadron, of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The two were separated by a razor-thin margin during the Sept. 10 Primary, and today is their day of reckoning.

Experts are predicting a very light turnout for the runoff, since the Public Advocate's race is the only one on the ballot.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
