Live Score to Beasts of the Southern Wild
If you were one of the countless film fans who fell in love with New Orleans-based indie flick Beasts of the Southern Wild last year, good news: You can relive the magic in an entirely new way this week at Celebrate! Brooklyn's live score performance, featuring Dan Romer, Benh Zeitlin and The Wordless Orchestra, who together will recreate the original score.

The Filmballad of MAMADADA
Described as "a collectively-authored experimental biodrama about the early 20th Century artist Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven," this feature-length film includes 49 artist interpretations and responses to the "amorphous legacy of feminism." Show begins at 8 p.m.; $5; Roulette.
