Pratt Institute Will Build 124 New Dorms in Clinton Hill

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — Artsy kids with dreams of living in an increasingly trendy Brooklyn neighborhood, rejoice.

The Pratt Institute in Clinton Hill has filed plans with the NYC Department of Buildings to build a 10-story, 124-unit dorm building at at 135 Emerson Place.

Pratt first purchased the development site located for $13 million in 2012, according to The Real Deal.

The application also calls for the construction of a cellar.

Carisima Koenig of Cannon Design is listed on the plan as the architect for the project.
