The Early Word: Polls Open For State Primary

Democratic Assembly and District Leader contests to be decided Thursday.

1. Attention Democrats: Make sure your voice is heard. Thursday's state primary may decide only two contests—one for Assembly, the other for District Leader—but those choices will affect Fort Greene-Clinton Hill's representation in Albany and the Brooklyn Democratic Party for the next two years.
