Stone: I have always had the inclination to care take. I attended to the needs of my parents as they aged and naturally took to the role. My favorite saying is, “No worries, everything will work out,” and more often than not, The Regency residents respond leaving my office in good spirits. I naturally gravitated toward assisted living as a career and have been rewarded by all the residents I've known over the past 23 years at The Regency.

Stone: I feel that not being able to resolve an issue quickly is the biggest challenge I've faced. The residents are the most important part of my work. When they have a problem, question or feel anxious, I feel the urgency to get to the bottom of the situation speedily.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Stone: Keeping the residents happy is my daily goal. I always try to have patience with them and be a listening ear for them to talk about their pasts, their worries, their joys, and well, anything and everything. I always follow two basic principles: be patient and be kind.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?
