3 Men Injured, 1 Seriously In Long Island Crash: Police
Nassau police detectives said a box truck traveling eastbound collided with a Ford van that was traveling west on Old Northern Boulevard.
ROSLYN, NY — Three people were injured — one seriously — when a box truck collided with a van on Old Northern Boulevard in Roslyn on Wednesday, Nassau County police said.
Detectives said that just before 5 p.m. a box truck that was traveling eastbound was in a collision with a Ford van that was traveling west on Old Northern Boulevard, east of Tatterson Street.
The 36-year-old man who was driving the Ford van suffered a serious head injury, broken ribs and a severe laceration to his left elbow and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, but he is currently in stable condition, police said.

The 27-year-old man who was driving the box truck and a 32-year-old man riding in the Ford van were both injured and transported to an area hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Both men are currently in stable condition, according to police.
The investigation is continuing.
