Dave Matthews Tribute Band To Perform In Glen Cove

The band will pay homage to the iconic Dave Matthews Band during a free performance on Sunday.

The Dave Matthews Tribute Band is set to put on a free performance in Glen Cove on Sunday.

The show, sponsored by Sondra and David Mack, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Morgan Park, located on Germaine Street at the end of Landing Road. Residents and their children are welcome to bring a blanket and chairs or even set up a picnic.

The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, also known as Big Eyed Phish, is a seven-member group that has headlined throughout the Northeast at festivals, resorts, casinos and live music venues while honoring the iconic rock/jazz fusion group, Dave Matthews Band.

Members of The Dave Matthews Tribute Band are:

  • Brandon DePaul (“Dave”), lead vocals and guitar
  • Jimmy Grillo (“Carter”), drums
  • Dan Merkey (“Jeff”/“LeRoi”), sax, backup vocals, cowbell
  • Shawn Rotolo (“Stefan”), bass
  • Mike Hoeschlele (“Boyd”), violin, harmonica, backup vocals
  • Brian Dudiak (“Butch”), keyboards
  • Jon Sheffer (Tim), lead guitar

In the event of rain, the concert will be held in St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, located on Pearsall Avenue in Glen Cove.

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is a nonprofit organization that has been providing free concerts in the park for 58 years. The shows are completely funded through donations received from businesses and individuals.
