Diabetes Awareness Presentation at Library

The Glen Cove Library will be hosting a presentation on diabetes Tuesday afternoon with a registered nurse in honor of National Diabetes Month. 

Certified diabetes educator, Mary Muscarello, RN, will discuss the disease and the serious complications that can result from it. She will also discuss how complications from diabetes can be minimized with support, monitoring and proper management of lifestyle and diet.

The presentation begins at 2 p.m. in the community room.
