Dolphin Bookshop Donates Gifts to Glen Cove Youth Bureau

Frequenters of the Dolphin Bookshop in Port Washington made the holiday season a little brighter for a few boys and girls.

Taking tags from the store’s giving tree, shoppers served as Santa’s elves for many children who receive gifts from the Glen Cove Youth Bureau.

Arlene O’Dell, Executive Director of the Youth Bureau, accepted the gifts from the staff at the Dolphin Bookshop and thanked them for their generous donations.

The Dolphin Bookshop, located at 299 Main St., offers books and gifts, as well as a café, a book club, a meet the author program and a Friday night music series.

The Glen Cove Youth Bureau serves local youth and provides family services to members of the community.
