Fire Tears Through Coles Street Home

Two occupants suffer smoke inhalation in early-morning blaze.

Two people were treated for smoke inhalation early Saturday after a fire scorched the rear of a home on Coles Street.

Glen Cove EMS responded with two ambulances to the 1:53 a.m. fire and set up a triage area for any injured occupants or firefighters, according to Glen Cove EMS Chief Matt Venturino.

Two people inside the house at the time of the fire were treated at the scene and released.
