Fireman's Shield, Handicap Permit, Electronics Stolen from Cars

Nassau County Police report on thefts from cars.

Nassau County Police reported the following incidents involving larcenies from vehicles.

  • July 28: Roy Street, West Hempstead; iPod stolen.
  • July 29: Winona Road, Baldwin; knapsack, wristlet, car keys, credit cards stolen.
  • July 26: H-Mart parking lot, Great Neck; wallet stolen from front seat of car.
  • July 29: Arthur Street, Lakeview; $20 in cash stolen.
  • July 30: Steele Boulevard, Baldwin; back left window broken, dashboard Alpine radio stolen.
  • July 30: Willoughby Avenue, Seaford; pocketbook stolen.
  • July 30: George Road, N. Bellmore; fireman’s shield, cellphone charger, loose change stolen.
  • July 30: Synergy Fitness Center, Massapequa; windows shattered, assorted items stolen.
  • July 31: Rite Aid, Valley Stream; clothing stolen.
  • July 31: Front Street, Uniondale; handicap parking permit stolen.
  • Aug. 2: Pathmark, Baldwin; hubcaps stolen.
  • Aug. 2: Walmart, Westbury; black leather pocketbook and contents stolen from car trunk.
  • Aug. 3: Robbins Drive, East Williston; Samsung tablet stolen.
  • Aug. 3: School Street, East Williston; Ralph Lauren tote bag, wallet, credit cards, NYS drivers license stolen.
  • Aug. 4: Westmoreland Road, Merrick; Nike sneakers, NYS driver’s license, Social Security card stolen.
  • Aug. 4: Abby Road, Merrick; GPS, cellphone stolen.
  • Aug. 4: Paschal Avenue, Franklin Square; Leatherman utility tool knife stolen.
  • Aug. 4: Cathedral Avenue, Franklin Square; $15 in change stolen.
  • Aug. 5: Elmont Road, Elmont; purse stolen.
