Food Truck, Holiday Boutique Extravaganza In Glen Cove

Bring your appetites and get your shopping bags ready for St. Rocco's first annual Food Truck Festival and Holiday Boutique Extravaganza in Glen Cove.

The event is organized from those who bring St. Rocco's Festival, the "Best Feast in the East," to the community in July.

The Food Truck Festival and Holiday Boutique Extravaganza will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Rocco's Church, located at 18 Third St.

The festival will feature eight mobile food purveyors that will offer various delicacies, including cheese steaks, gourmet mac and cheese, Cuban and Mexican food, zeppoles and St. Rocco's famous sausage and pepper sandwiches.

Holiday shoppers will also be able to grab holiday gifts from a variety of vendors set up inside the church's Parish Hall. Jewelry, home and holiday accessories, sweet treats and more will be for purchase.

Santa Claus will also be making an appearance.

There will also be a special ceremony for the lighting of the St. Rocco's Church Christmas tree at 5:30 p.m.

The event will be held rain, show or shine.
