Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club Lights on After School
Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club held their Annual Lights on After School Open House.

Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club held their Annual Lights on After School Open House on Thursday, October 27th to celebrate the Club’s after school programs and the important role it plays in the lives of children and families in the Glen Cove community.
Kerry Tooker, Child Nutrition Program Specialist at LI Cares, was also honored at the event for the organization’s service and support to the Club’s Kids Café Snack Program. The Kids Café is one of the many programs LI Cares offers to help fight against hunger and make a difference in the lives of Long Island communities. Thanks to the support of LI Cares, members are greeted with healthy snacks as soon as they arrive at the Club. Snacks are provided daily during the school year as well as during the Club’s Summer program.
The event was also supported by the Glen Cove Police Department with Police Officer (and board member) Darren Pittman present at the event. Affinity Health and Pollo Compero offered services to guests alongside GCBGC Torch Club selling baked goods. Starbucks of Sea Cliff and Glen Cove, Downtown Café, Vito’s Pizzeria, Panera Bread of Glen Cove, Glen Cove Nails, the Bagel Café and Barnes & Noble Glen Cove provided the many prizes for the evening’s raffle. Families and friends enjoyed capturing their memories at the event in the photo booth courtesy of All Done Party Rental.
