Sea Cliff Cafe Partners With NOSH To Donate Organic Groceries
A local cafe is collaborating with a new nonprofit food organization to donate food to families in need.

SEA CLIFF, NY – A local cafe is collaborating with a new nonprofit food organization to donate food to families in need who have been impacted by the new coronavirus outbreak.
For every organic grocery bundle purchased from Wells Cafe & Apothecary, a bundle of equal value will be donated to North Shore Food Help (NOSH) to local families in need of food, according to an announcement from Councilwoman Marsha Silverman.
"I am thrilled to connect two women-run organization, NOSH, a critical resource to feed those in need, with Wells Cafe, a provider of nutritious organic foods," Silverman said in a prepared statement.

NOSH is a community-based organization that was founded in order to provide support for the food insecure in the Glen Cove area during the coronavirus outbreak.
"It is a privilege to partner with Wells Cafe to bring organic food to those in need," said NOSH's Courtney Callahan in the announcement. "As a vegan, it is particularly important to create access to plant-based foods."

Wells Cafe & Apothecary offers a seasonal, plant-centric menu that features local ingredients from farms in New York.
"We are thrilled that NOSH exists and we are able to team up to offer nourishing foods to our community during this time of need," said Wells Cafe owners Maddy Mindich and Emily Berg in a prepared statement.
