Glen Cove Students Create Podcast Book Reviews
Once completed, the podcasts will be posted to the high school's Library Media Center's homepage.

Glen Cove High School students in Lauren Jensen’s 10th-grade honors classes are creating podcast book reviews to share with students in their school community.
The 10th grade students used Audacity software to record scripts of book reviews they had written based on their second quarter independent reading assignments. Jensen, along with Library Media Specialist Arlene Munson, worked with the students, instructing them on the fundamentals of recording as well as how to embed music onto their file. They also helped students export their podcasts to Jensen’s wiki page (a blog-like site).
Once completed, the podcasts will be posted to Glen Cove High School’s Library Media Center’s homepage, giving other students an opportunity to learn about various book selections available at the library.
