Locust Valley School Bus Contractors Infected With Coronavirus
Two people working for a bus contractor for Locust Valley schools have tested positive for the new coronavirus, the school said.
LOCUST VALLEY, NY — Two contracted employees involved in transporting Locust Valley Central School District students have tested positive for COVID-19, known as the new coronavirus, according to a message on the school website.
As a result, all district schools are closed on Tuesday "so we can learn more and assess the situation to determine the best steps forward," the message says.
The Nassau County Department of Health informed the school district of the infections.
