WASHINGTON, DC — Long Islanders will begin seeing monthly payments of the expanded Child Tax Credit on July 15, Congressman Thomas Suozzi’s office said.
Eligible families are expected to receive $300 per month for each child under the age of six, and up to $250 per month for each child over six years old, but that is only for people who filed their taxes on time on Monday.
“If you have children, you and your family may qualify for thousands of dollars beginning July 15th, said Suozzi. “You may receive $300 per month, per child. This is real life for real families.”
