The condominium prices will range from $575,000 to $2.375 million. RXR first reported sales would begin this month, but said on Thursday sales will begin in early spring.

Design firm Studio Grella, based in Glen Cove, created The Beacon’s “classically contemporary” look. “We wanted The Beacon to have a classy, modern feel,” Mike Grella, principal at Studio Grella, said in a press release. “Our team worked extremely hard on this design, and we are thrilled that it’s finally out there for everyone to see.”

The properties will offer spacious and modern layouts, generous ceiling heights and 8-foot windows overlooking the Glen Cove creek, Garvies Point Preserve and the Long Island Sound, RXR says. Master bathrooms will include KOHLER products, large soaking tubs, Italian cabinetry and a mix of marble and porcelain flooring and countertops.

RXR says residents will have access to various outdoor spaces, including rooftop terraces at the penthouse level, courtyard terraces at ground level as well as outdoor balconies for nearly every unit. The Beacon will offer a lobby, outdoor pool, fitness center and yoga studio, library, lounge, club room, screening room and marina.

“The model opening is an important step forward in showing potential residents here in Glen Cove and throughout the region the incredible opportunity Garvies Point offers to enjoy world-class waterfront living,” Scott Rechler, chairman and chief executive officer of RXR Realty, said. “We are excited to display the modern design and wide range of amenities that will be available at The Beacon, and look forward to beginning sales.”

Patch reached out to RXR to find out the cost of The Beacon condominiums.

The $1 billion Garvies Point Waterfront Redevelopment, which is expected to be one of the largest developments ever on Long Island, broke ground in December. The sale was finalized on Nov. 22.
