Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held For AMC Glen Cove 6
The newly renovated movie theater offers reclining seats, an expanded concession area and more.
An official ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated AMC Glen Cove 6 was held on Wednesday.
The movie theater, located at 5 School St., offers reclining seats, an expanded concession area, online ticketing, reserved seating, as well as updated movie screens and sound system.
The theater is open for business and ready for residents to enjoy their movies screening experience.

“It’s show time in downtown Glen Cove and we welcome AMC Theatres to our city,” Mayor Reggie Spinello said in a press release. “This new theatre will be a marque attraction that will offer our residents and surrounding communities an exciting and convenient entertainment destination.”
The enhanced food and beverage menu includes AMC Feature Fare, featuring new menu items such as Chicken & Waffle Sandwiches, gourmet hot dogs and four Stone-Fired Flat Bread Pizza options. The Coca-Cola Freestyle machines offer more than 120 drink options.

Local officials joined AMC's Dominick Zarrillo and Nick Pearson for the ribbon cutting ceremony, including Spinello, council members Nick DiLeo Jr. and Pamela Panzenbeck, Deputy Mayor Barbara Peebles as well as members of the Downtown B.I.D., Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce and The DiNoto Group.
