Vito’s Ristorante Celebrates Anniversary With Charity Fundraiser

The proceeds from this event went towards the Children's Tumor Foundation.

Vito’s Ristorante and Pizzeria hosted a fundraising event in June in celebration of its third anniversary.

For each pizza sold on June 24, Vito’s donated half the price to the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Vito’s business neighbor, The Bagel Café, also supported the fundraising drive by donating 50 percent of the cost of a dozen bagels to CTF.

Vito’s Ristorante and Pizzeria is located at 91 Forest Ave.

The proceeds from this event will support the development of solid scientific data about this genetic disorder.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.

Also in attendance at the fundraiser was Glen Cove Mayor Reggie Spinello and members of the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce.
