Volunteers Haul 50 Pounds of Trash off Glen Cove Streets
Only three local streets were targeted during the July cleanup.

Volunteers took to the streets of Glen Cove and cleaned up roughly 50 pounds of garbage during an early Saturday morning cleanup.
Glen Cove’s Beautification Commission targets a different set of streets for a neighborhood cleanup each month. In July, volunteers spruced up Landing, McLoughlin and Carpenter streets.
The Commission has a mission of keeping Glen Cove a beautiful place to live, work and play. Anyone looking to help beautify the City are encouraged to contact Darcy Belyea, Director of Glen Cove’s Parks and Recreation Department. For more Beautification Commission volunteer information, call 516-676-3766 or email DBelyea@CityofGlenCoveNY.org
