2-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Fifth Avenue Building, FDNY Says
A fire broke out in the middle of the night at a 7-story building on Fifth Ave. between 31st and 32nd Sts., FDNY said.
KOREATOWN, NY — More than 100 firefighters took two hours to put out a fire at a 7-story building on Fifth Avenue early Thursday morning, a Fire Department spokesman said.
A two-alarm fire broke out about 1:40 a.m. at 312 Fifth Avenue, between 31st and 32nd Sts. in Koreatown, an FDNY spokesman said.
The fire was discovered in the rear of the building, the spokesman said.

The spokesman said 25 units and 106 personnel responded to the fire, which was under control by about 3:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported, the spokesman said.
