Are These The Best 3 Restaurants In NYC?

A new ranking says these are the city's finest dining experiences.

FLATIRON, NY — These three restaurants are the best in New York City, according to a new ranking. They're also among the most high-end – and expensive.

The ultra-swanky Eleven Madison Park, Atera and Le Bernadin are the best dining experiences the city has to offer, according to restaurant ratings from the company Renzell. They were picked based on a data-driven model that evaluates everything from cocktails to hospitality to vibe.

Renzell, which is new to the restaurant review scene, says its reviewers answer more than 70 questions about eateries, and their responses are put through an algorithm that's designed to weed out bias and subjectivity.

Here's more about the restaurants:

Eleven Madison Park: The famously high-end eatery has re-opened its doors in Flatiron after a brief hiatus while its space got a complete redesign. Eleven Madison Park, located, as you might have guessed, at 11 Madison Ave., has three Michelin stars and numerous other accolades and awards. If you'd like to try a little of everything and get the dining room tasting menu, it'll cost you a cool $295 per person. You'll have to wait awhile, though: Reservations for the restaurant's tasting menu are booked solid through October, Eater reported.

Atera: The Tribeca restaurant also specializes in intricate, expensive tasting menus. The "highly seasonal and continuously sensory" tasting menu will you take you two-and-a-half hours to consume, plus $275 to pay the check, according to Atera's website. If you want to add a wine pairing to that, it'll be another $175. The restaurant, located at 77 Worth St., has netted two Michelin stars.

Le Bernandin: The Midtown restaurant has remained a popular choice for fine French dining in New York City. A prix-fixe dinner with four courses will cost about $157. The restaurant, located at 155 W. 51st St., boasts that it's maintained a four-star New York Times review for more than 20 years, in addition to its three Michelin stars. The dinner menu features seemingly every type of fish, along with some very expensive caviar add-ons to start.
