GRAMERCY, NY — A drug dealer who sold an NYU doctor the heroin that killed him was arrested this week, the New York Post reported.

Dr. Ravindra Rajmane was found dead of an apparent overdose in his Park Avenue apartment in December, police said. Now, weeks later, a Manhattan drug dealer is facing federal charges in connection with his death.

Rajmane, a professor at the NYU Langone Medical Center, was reportedly found dead with small, square envelopes with heroin residue near his body. The envelops were stamped with the logo "Knock Out King," which helped investigators find Cortez, the Post reported.

The Manhattan district attorney's office was not immediately able to provide more information about Cortez's arrest.
