First NYC 'Wagamama' Ramen Restaurant Opens in NoMad Wednesday

This ramen restaurant chain is known for fresh eats and communal style dining.

NOMAD, NY — The popular London-based ramen restaurant Wagamama will open it's first New York City location Wednesday. The new restaurant will open it's doors at 210 Fifth Ave. on 26th St, right across from Madison Square Park.

Wagamama is known for fresh, Asian-influenced dishes. Diners can order a variety of Ramen, noodle, and stir fry options and then add their own toppings to it. Some popular dishes include the Firecracker stir fry and Chili Chicken ramen. Donburi rice bowls, gyoza, soba noodle dishes and curries are also available.

According to The New York Times, this Wagamama will be housed in a two-story space in the NoMad area. The restaurant will be able to fit more than 200 patrons, and it will also be the only Wagamama location that offers brunch and alcohol. Expect the usual Wagamama layout: an open kitchen, communal tables, and stools.
