Man Arrested For Trying To Rob Citibank Near Stuy Town, Cops Say
Police have arrested a man for trying to rob a Citibank near Stuyvesant Town, cops said.

STUYVESANT TOWN, NY — Officers arrested a man for trying to rob a bank near Stuyvesant Town Thursday morning, according to police.
Robert Balsano, 47, of the Bronx was arrested and charged with attempted robbery Thursday, police said.
Late last month, Saturday, March 23, a man walked up to a bank teller at Citibank at 262 First Ave. near Stuyvesant Town and passed a note demanding money, police said.

Police said the teller didn't give him any cash, and he fled without anything.
After an active investigation, cops arrested Balsano for the reported robbery Thursday about 10:10 a.m., police said.
