Man Hit And Killed By Train In Murray Hill, Police Say
A man was lying on the tracks of the East 28th Street 6 train station when he was hit by a northbound train around 5 a.m., police said.

MURRAY HILL-GRAMERCY, NY — A man was struck and killed by a train Friday morning in a Murray Hill subway station, an NYPD spokesman said.
The man was lying on the tracks at the East 28th Street and Park Avenue 6 train station when he was struck by a northbound train around 5 a.m., police said. EMS responded to the scene and declared the man dead about 10 minutes later, an NYPD spokesman said.
The NYPD spokesman said there is no criminality suspected, but could not confirm how the man got onto the tracks. Police did not release the man's identity but said he was in his 60s.

Northbound 4 and 6 service resumed regular service with delays around 6 a.m., MTA officials said. Trains were being run on the express track only while emergency personnel were operating at the East 28th Street station, according to the MTA.
