Thief Mugs 73-Year-Old Woman, Pushes Her To The Ground: NYPD
A thief pushed a 73-year-old woman to the ground and stole her purse, police said.

GRAMERCY, NY — Someone mugged a 73-year-old woman and pushed her to the ground, police said.
The 73-year-old woman was walking near First Avenue and 19th Street Saturday, May 11 about 7:45 p.m., police said.
A male described as being in his late teens or early 20s walked up to her from behind and grabbed her purse — pushing her to the ground, police said.

The woman had cuts and bruises on her face and was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, according to the NYPD. Police said her purse had cash, a phone and identification.
The thief was last seen in all dark clothing and a du-rag, police said.
