Man Tries To Rob Citibank Near Stuyvesant Town, Police Say
The man passed a note to the bank teller demanding money on Saturday morning, police said.
STUYVESANT TOWN, NY — A man passed a note to a bank teller demanding money Saturday morning, police said.
The attempted bank robber walked into Citibank, located at 262 First Ave. near Stuyvesant Town, about 10 a.m. Saturday, according to police.
Police said the man walked up to the bank teller and passed a note demanding money.

The teller didn't give him any cash, and he fled without anything, police said.
Police said the man was described as 30- to 40-years-old, 6-foot 1-inches tall and 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey hoodie, black hat, grey gloves and black sweatpants with red stripes.
