Trax Records Hosting A Live Party Over Zoom This Weekend

Because of COVID-19, everyone across the globe has been put in a tricky situation. Most of us miss our old routines and life before social distancing. We miss hanging out with friends, going out on the weekends, and just being social in general. So to try to bring some of that excitement back during this quarantine, Trax Records Television, in partnership with Screamin’ Rachael and Jason Chaos, will be hosting a virtual party this Saturday on Zoom.

Sure, this party will be virtual, but I assure you it’ll be such a banger that you’ll forget you’re at home. Considering who our hosts are, it’ll be the most fun you’ve had this whole quarantine.

The first host and DJ, Screamin’ Rachael, is a legend in the world of house music who has been referred to by publications like Billboard as the “Queen of House.” She was the first house artist to land a major record deal and co-founded Trax Records, the label responsible for launching house music into the mainstream. She has also collaborated on so many classic club hits like “Acid Tracks” by Phuture and “Move Your Body” by Marshall Jefferson, which is what made the house scene blow up in Chicago.

Jason Chaos, the second host, is also a bonafide badass. A musician, actor and party promoter in New York City’s club scene, he has hosted some of the best parties the city has ever seen. As one of the city’s top promoters, he might also be the city’s most unique, since he hosts a goth party called “13lackout” on the 13th of every month which many of New York’s nightlife celebrities usually attend. The 13lackout party has even happened in places as far as Egypt, and just keeps expanding. Jason is also known for pioneering the sensational gothic rap/horror pop genre and has collaborated with countless musicians on his music.

Also hosting the party will be Michael James, Jonas Young Borra, Amanda Murray, Raya, and James Farley. Bobby Ishak and Elmo3 will also be DJ’ing with Screamin’ Rachael.
