MURRAY HILL, NY — The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association will host its 46th annual neighborhood street festival Saturday.

The festival first started as a small block party on 35th Street between Lexington and Madison avenues, according to the neighborhood association's website. Since then, it's grown to become a six block street festival that takes over Park Avenue for the day.

The theme? "Come Meet Your Neighbor!"

Here's what you need to know:

When is it? Saturday, June 1, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where is it? The west side of Park Avenue between 34th and 40th streets.

What will there be at the festival? Live entertainment beginning at noon. A book sale will be at the festival selling hundreds of new and used books. A silent auction will also be set up. Last year, more than 60 items were up for grabs, from a private whisky tasting to a brunch at Dock's Oyster Bar. There will be baked goods, raffle tickets, local food, walking tours, clothing and toy exchange for kids, local theatre performances, and more.

Will there be street closures? Yes. Per the New York Police Department, southbound lanes on Park Avenue between 34th and 40th streets will be closed.
