NoMad's Evoke Neuroscience Named One of Inc.'s Fastest Growing Companies in New York City
The company develops tools that measure stress levels and cognitive impairment.
NOMAD, NY — People are desperate to access the workings of their own brains, and a NoMad company has capitalized on that.
Evoke Neuroscience was named the seventh-fastest growing company in the five boroughs by Inc. Magazine. The company's headquarters is located in NoMad near Kips Bay at 11 W. 25th St. between Broadway and Sixth Avenue.
"We are honored to be ranked the seventh-fastest growing company in New York City," Evoke Neuroscience co-founder James Thompson told Patch. "This has been a great home base for us, with many loyal New York City-based customers, quality talent and easy access to other major markets across the country."

Thompson said the company has been so successful because it has made medical neuroscience easily accessible. The company sells products like a wristband for controlling stress through a sensor, software to help improve memory, and neuroscience training headphones.
"We believe that everyone should have access to tools that gauge and improve their brain health and function," Thompson said. "Evoke's clinical solutions help patients with a variety of cognitive concerns. But they extend far beyond the physician's office — from peak performance training of elite athletes to the military, including the U.S. Special Operations Forces."
