The ferry was forced to dock and evacuate unexpectedly on Wednesday morning.

MURRAY HILL, NY — A New York City Ferry had to be evacuated and docked unexpectedly on Wednesday morning because of an unknown issue, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported, but all commuters on the ferry were evacuated at the ferry's dock near East 34th Street on the East River, an FDNY spokesman said.
It was not immediately clear why the ferry needed to dock, the spokesman said.
