Robber Steals Cash From Kips Bay Bank, Police Say
The man took $305 after passing a note to a teller, police said.

KIPS BAY, NY — A robber made off with $305 in cash Friday while stealing from a bank in Kips Bay, according to the NYPD.
Police said the man entered a Chase bank located at 501 Second Ave. at about 10:20 a.m. on Friday and passed a note demanding money to a teller at the bank. The teller handed over some cash and the robber ran from the bank with $305, police said.
No one was injured during the robbery and no weapons were used, according to the NYPD.

Police are still searching for the man, who they have not identified and believe to be about 60 years old.
