This Saturday Take Activism Offline And Into Daily Life
Come to the Action Item Fair at Thoughtworks, 99 Madison Ave. between 29th and 30th streets.

MURRAY HILL, NY — This Saturday a group of progressive organizations are sponsoring "a daylong inquiry into clear and concrete steps that New Yorkers can take to create systemic change in our city and beyond."
The event, called the Action Item Fair, will be made up of panels and workshops throughout the day, led by representatives from NYC organizations that have experience in "pushing movements forward," including the New York Civil Liberties Union, Justice League NYC, The Workmen's Circle and the NYC Chapter of the Women's March on Washington.
The sponsors promise a day of "learning and action to channel our individual power into systemic change."

The Action Item Fair will take place at Thoughtworks (99 Madison Ave. between 29th and 30th streets), a company that aims to "better humanity through software and help drive the creation of a socially and economically just world."
