School Bus Driver Hits Scaffolding In Murray Hill: NYPD, FDNY

A school bus driver lost control and struck scaffolding in Murray Hill, the NYPD said. Officials said no kids were on the bus at the time.

MURRAY HILL, NY — A school bus driver lost control and struck the scaffolding of a building in Murray Hill, police said.

No children were on the bus during the crash at 36th Street and First Avenue Wednesday morning about 10 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said.

The driver has minor injuries, and emergency medical services were on the scene about 11 a.m., the NYPD spokesman said.

The Fire Department was on the scene after a call came in about 10:20 a.m., an FDNY spokesman confirmed.
