Stuyvesant Town’s Housing Lottery Returns With $1,400 Studios
Renters can score studios through five bedroom apartments in the Gramercy complex.

GRAMERCY, NY — One of the largest residential complexes in the city is accepting applications for an affordable housing lottery.
Renters set on living in Gramercy's Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village have their chance to snag an apartment in the sought after Lower Manhattan complex.
The lottery is geared toward middle and upper-middle class New Yorkers with those earning 80 and 165 percent of the area median income — or between $43,860 and $268,620 annually — are eligible to apply for units that start at $1,462 per month for studios up to five-bedroom apartments that go for $5,508.

Lucky renters can look forward to a 24-hour on-site property manager, laundry rooms, children's playrooms, a fitness center and shared outdoor space across 80 acres.
Applicants have until Oct. 11 to apply and can do so on the complex's website.
