Thief Stole Restaurant Employees' Checks In Gramercy, Police Say
Cops have also tied the thief to two other burglaries in September, the NYPD said.

GRAMERCY, NY — A thief stole restaurant employees' checks late last month in the third restaurant burglary cops have tied him to, according to the NYPD.
The man got inside of Follia Restaurant just after 6 a.m. Oct. 20 on Third Avenue near East 17th Street, according to the NYPD. He walked into an office area and stole employees' paychecks, police said.
Police said the man is wanted for two other burglaries that happened in September.

He stole bottle of liquor from a bar at the top of Park South Hotel in Kips Bay after pretending to be a delivery worker about 9:20 a.m. Sept. 5, police said.
A few minutes later on the same September morning, police said the man walked into Pippali Restaurant on East 27th Street near Lexington Avenue and stole $1,700, a laptop and five bottles of liquor.
