Beauty Queens From Half Hollow Hills Earn Recognition
Proclamations were presented to Miss New York Teen 2017 and Miss Long Island Teen 2017.

A Half Hollow Hills High School East student and a recent graduate were recently recognized for winning Miss New York Teen 2017 and Miss Long Island Teen 2017.
Isabella Griffith, a junior, was named Miss New York Teen 2017 while Taylor Yaeger, who graduated in 2016, won Miss Long Island Teen 2017. Yaeger, who now attends Long Island University C.W. Post, also finished third runner up at the Miss New York Teen Competition.
The teens were presented Town of Huntington proclamations from Councilwoman Susan A. Berland.

“Isabella and Taylor continue to positively impact the lives of others and they are inspirations to us all,” Berland said in a press release. “I wish Isabella continued success at the Miss USA Teen Competition in July and Taylor continued success with her college studies.”
