Call for Artists: Art in the Park Fine Art & Craft Fair June 2018
Artists and Craftspeople are invited to submit applications to exhibit in this well-attended annual event at Heckscher Park in Huntington
The Art League of Long Island’s 51st Annual Art in the Park Fine Art & Craft Fair will take place June 2 & 3, 2018 at Heckscher Park in Huntington. The deadline for artists and craftspeople to submit applications is May 24, 2018. About 70 vendors participated in last year’s event, with thousands in attendance.
The Art League’s Fine Art & Craft Fairs select only artists and craftspeople who submit sample photos indicating handcrafted works of superior quality. Of those selected to participate, care is taken to ensure a balanced representation of artistic mediums. Mediums accepted include painting, photography, wood works, jewelry, ceramics, pottery, glass art, fiber art, wearable art, printmaking, mixed media, and other hand-made items. At the Fair, prizes are awarded to participating artists and craftspeople with the most innovative designs. The fair runs from 10am to 5pm both days.
