Candidates Night, 'Raise the Bar' Author

The weather is cooling down and the leaves are changin with the temperatures. Expect sunshine today with a high of 65 degrees. Showers are predicted to roll in Tuesday and Wednesday, with the temperature taking a drop into the low 50s. The sun will peeking out from the clouds again on Friday.

--If you haven't yet attended one of the many candidates nights, you'll have another chance at 7 p.m. at Harborfields Public Library. The League of Women Voters of Huntington, the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, and Huntington Leadership are cosponsoring a  Meet The Candidates Night for candidates running for Huntington supervisor, Town Board, and superintendent of highways.

--Raise the Bar: Jon Taffer, co-producer and host of Spike TV's Bar Rescue, will speak and sign copies of his new book, Raise the Bar: An Action-Based Method for Maximum Customer Reactions, at the Book Revue, 7 p.m.
