Canon To Officially Open New Melville HQ
Company will celebrate grand opening Friday morning.
The new Canon headquarters in Melville will receive its official grand opening on Friday.
Company executives will be joined by state and local elected officials at a ceremony that will begin at 11 a.m. at One Canon Park, located on the corner of the Long Island Expressway Service Road and Walt Whitman Road.
Among those expected to be in attendance are Fujio Mitarai, chairman and chief executive officer with Canon, and Joe Adachi, president and chief executive officer of Canon U.S.A.

After searching for a permanent home for more than 25 years, Canon is excited to celebrate its grand opening with those who helped bring the Canon Americas Headquarters from concept to reality, the company said in a press release.
According to the company, Canon’s new headquarters reflects its belief in environmentally responsible development.
