Capital One Shifting Jobs To Melville

Bank moving 42 positions from Mattituck office in March.

There will be a few more jobs coming to Melville.

Long Island Business News (subscription required) reported that Capital One Bank will shift its enterprise lockbox operations to Melville from Mattituck. The 42 positions will move next month prior to the company closing its Mattituck office in June.

A Capital One spokesperson said associates who accept a position in Melville will be eligible for a transition bonus.

Those who choose not to move will be eligible for severance packages that include retraining assistance and outplacement services.
