Crane Collapses Into Melville Office Building
The incident occurred on Thursday morning.

A crane collapsed into an office building in Melville on Thursday morning.
According to fire officials, a strut broke on the truck and lifted the vehicle off the ground and into the building on Broad Hollow Road near Arlington Street at 9 a.m.
No injuries were reported and the Town of Huntington Building Department was on the scene to assess the damage.

About 20 Melville firefighters responded to the scene with an engine, heavy rescue, ladder truck, ambulance and Fire Police. Units were under the direction of Chiefs Chris Nolan, David Kaplan and Bill Schmitt, according to PIO Steve Silverman.
