Suffolk County District 16 Results: Susan Berland Keeps Her Seat
Democratic incumbent Susan Berland staved off Republican challenger Hector Gavilla to keep her position on the Suffolk Legislature.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Democratic incumbent Susan Berland ran against Republican challenger Hector Gavilla in the race for Suffolk County Legislative District 16. The district encompasses Commack, Dix Hills, East Northport, Elwood, Melville and South Huntington in the Town of Huntington, Deer Park in the Town of Babylon and Brentwood and North Bay Shore in the Town of Islip.

Susan Berland: 6,501 votes; 53.89 percent
