Half Hollow Hills School Budget Passes
The Half Hollow Hills school budget was passed, while Eric Geringswald and David Kaston were re-elected to the school board.

DIX HILLS, NY--Half Hollow Hills School District voters approved a 2019-20 school budget on Tuesday.
The $259,858,929 proposed budget was approved by a margin of 915-308. The budget is a 2.46 percent increase from the current year's. It's accompanied by a 2.49 percent bump in the tax levy. That is below the district's tax levy cap, so the budget only needed to be approved by a majority vote.
Eric Geringswald and David Kaston were both re-elected to the school board after running unopposed.
