Kick Off Boating Season With a Nautical Fair
Chat with nautical experts, go on boat tours, shop for merchandise to celebrate Safe Boating Week in Huntington.

Chat with nautical experts, go on boat tours, shop for merchandise and more at the third annual Nautical Market and Fair on Sunday.
The event will be held this weekend as part of Huntington Safe Boating Week.
Event attendees can check out nautical gear and items and speak with stand up paddle boarding and wakeboarding experts.

The Nautical Market and Fair will be held at Mill Dam Park in Huntington from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Nautical related retailers
- Service providers from watersport shops and camps
- Realtors with specialized knowledge of local waterfront communities
- Bating clubs, safety organizations
- “Fight for the Light” band contest
- Historic harbor boat tours
- Food

Residents will be able to go on Huntington Harbor History Boat Tours throughout the day of the fair. The tours will be narrated by Ed Carr, Huntington’s Director of Maritime Services. The boat will be docked across the street from Mill Dam Park. Scheduled tour times include:
- 11:30 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. — 1:30 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
Safe Boating Week kicks off Saturday and ends Friday, May 22. The entire week will focus on safety in the water as boating season gets underway.
“Our boating community wants to ensure that everyone enjoys a safe and fun season on the water,” said Ms. Jackie Martin, Commodore, Greater Huntington Council of Yacht and Boating Clubs.
