Man Enters Melville Backyard, Peers Through Window: Police

The man is wanted for criminal trespass, police say. The incident happened at 2:30 a.m. Friday.

MELVILLE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say trespassed in Melville.

A man entered the backyard of a Legends Circle home at 2:30 a.m. Friday and was caught on surveillance looking into a window, police said. He is wanted for criminal trespass.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
