Man Seriously Injured In Dix Hills Shooting
The man, 20, was brought to a hospital after a 911 caller reported the shooting, police say.
DIX HILLS, NY — A man was seriously injured in a Dix Hills shooting early Sunday, Suffolk police said.
A 911 caller reported a man was shot on Seaman Neck Road around midnight, prompting Second Precinct officers to respond, police said. The man, 20, of West Babylon, was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
